This webinar, jointly organised by the POLICY ANSWERS project and EUSDR Priority Area 7 (Knowledge Society), will explore the state of play of RIS3 in the region, cooperation potential and pathways for strengthening joint initiatives and R&I excellence. Smart Specialisation Strategies (RIS3) play a crucial role in fostering innovation-driven growth and strengthening regional competitiveness. For EU enlargement countries RIS3 is not only a framework for research and innovation (R&I) development but also a key component of the EU accession process. 

Join us for insights from leading experts and policymakers and engage in discussions on how smart specialisation can drive sustainable economic transformation and integration into the European Research Area.
