"EIT Communities as Drivers of EU-Wide R&I Integration"
Branka Žižić will provide an overview of the role of EIT Communities as drivers of EU-wide R&I integration. The webinar will outline the position of the EIT within Horizon Europe, explain how the KICs operate, and present key data on the participation of the Western Balkans compared to other regions. Drawing on the experience of one of the first EIT Community Hubs in the region, the expert will highlight the opportunities created by a local presence as well as the challenges for effective implementation. Finally, the expert will also share successful examples of gradual integration—from both the international context and Montenegro.
